1. BHT as an effective antioxidant:
BHT is widely renowned as a highly effective stabilizer in polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, and polyethylene. Its usage is generally restricted to 0.01-0.1%. BHT antioxidant plays a pivotal role in protecting cyclone plastic against the impact of aging of fibin ester and fibin ether caused by light and heat. Additionally, it is also an exceptional thermal stabilizer of polypropylene in synthetic fibers, and the recommended dosage is approximately 1%. Thus, BHT is a highly sought-after ingredient that finds diverse applications in various industries.
2. Application in the rubber industry:
BHT antioxidant is a widely used phenolic anti-aging agent in the rubber industry. It provides exceptional protection against heat, oxygen, and benzene for rubber materials such as butyl, isoprene, butadiene, and cu-bi effect. This antioxidant can also provide a bronze effect.

3. The application in industrial oil:
BHT antioxidant is a highly efficient additive for various oil products that provides excellent antioxidant properties. At a working temperature of around 100°C, it proves to be highly effective in providing protection against oxidation. BHT antioxidants find widespread use in enhancing the antioxidant and anti-sticking properties of transformer oil, hydraulic oil, heat conduction oil, brake oil, ingot oil and mechanical oil, and stone wax. It can be added directly to the product or mixed with the mother liquid to prolong the service life of the product. When used in conjunction with long-chain alkaline ZDDP and TCP metal reduction anti-rust-proof agents, BHT antioxidant can help enhance the anti-abrasion properties of hydraulic oil and other similar products. Typically, the recommended dosage of BHT antioxidant is between 0.1-1%.
4. Application in fuel oil:
Stabilizers are utilized to maintain the stability of gasoline and diesel, due to their susceptibility to instability caused by sulfur nitrodorite and olefin content. By adding BHT antioxidants, the oxidated gum of the fuel can improve its stability. BHT antioxidants have several benefits, including being oily soluble, non-corrosive, and non-discoloring, while also prolonging the induction period.
